Benjamin Madgwick is an award-winning photographer and director known for his distinctive use of light, colour, and emotion. Working between London, Paris, and New York, he brings a collaborative and considered approach to each project—creating environments where talent feels at ease and clients benefit from a clear, unified creative voice.
Benjamin’s ability to bridge stills and motion ensures a seamless experience across multi-set productions, maintaining visual consistency and narrative clarity.
Recent work includes a bold collaboration with MAC Cosmetics and Lick, using innovative lighting to explore the beauty of black-on-black. His latest personal project—examining modern relationships through photography and short film—was selected for the National Portrait Gallery’s prestigious Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize.
Other recent clients include British Vogue, Sephora, and Franceclat. He also continues to develop The Casting Project, an ongoing portrait series celebrating individuality and new talent.
